Dedicated to understanding the horse.

About

Jessica started riding when she was 6 years old in eventing and jumpers and was completely and utterly obsessed with horses from day one. Early in her riding career she had a difficult horse who taught her an enormous about about how horses think and behave. After many months spent in cowboy camp, her and her horse were able to make a smooth transition to dressage.

As a junior rider, Jessica and her horse grew together from 1st level to Prix St. George earning her Bronze and Silver Medal by the time she was 19. They successfully competed through Intermediaire-1 until his much deserved retirement.

Starting at 17 years old Jessica became a professional, has worked for many prestigious hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing and breeding farms throughout Central and Southern California.

“If you are fond of a horse and wish to do him a real favour- train him well. Teach him good manners, good habits, both in the stable and under saddle. you need never worry about the future of such a horse if for any reason you may have to part with him. You assure him of friends wherever he goes. Perhaps the greatest kindness you can do any horse is to educate him well.”
